Lair of the Minotaur
Lair of the Minotaur is an American sludge metal and thrash metal band from
Chicago, Illinois, that formed in 2003. The ensemble was established by the
vocalist and guitarist Steven Rathbone alongside the bassist Donald James
Barraca and the drummer Larry Herweg. They achieved early professional momentum
after signing with Southern Lord Records and releasing the debut studio album,
Carnage (2004). Their discography includes the studio recordings The Ultimate
Destroyer (2006), War Metal Battle Master (2008), and Evil Power (2010).
