Laing, a German pop music group from Berlin, was formed in 2007 and consisted of
three singers and one dancer. The lead singer, songwriter, and producer Nicola
Rost named the band after her mother's maiden name. The original lineup included
Nicola Rost, Susanna Berivan, Johanna Marshall, and Marisa Akeny. Laing gained
initial recognition with their EP Morgens Immer Müde, released in September
