Adam Gibbons, also known as Lack of Afro, is an English musician,
multi-instrumentalist, and producer. He began playing piano at age seven and
later took up the alto saxophone, reaching Grade 8 standard by age seventeen. He
earned the nickname “Lack of Afro” during his university years while working as
a DJ playing funk music. Gibbons began his professional career after signing
with Freestyle Records in 2006, which released his debut single "Wait A Minute."
