Lachlan R. Doley, known as Lachy Doley, was born on April 21, 1978, in Adelaide,
South Australia, Australia. He is a musician, singer, and songwriter known for
his work with the Hammond organ and whammy clavinet. In the mid-1990s, Doley
began his career as a session musician in Sydney. He contributed to
Powderfinger’s fifth studio album, Vulture Street (2003), as a recording session
musician. As a solo artist, he released his debut album, Typically Individual
