LaBrassBanda
LaBrassBanda was founded in 2007 by Stefan Dettl, a trumpeter and vocalist from
Übersee am Chiemsee, Germany. Dettl, inspired by New York City brass ensembles,
gathered fellow conservatory students Andreas Hofmeir, Oliver Wrage, Manuel
Winbeck, and Manuel da Coll to form the group. The band’s breakthrough came with
the 2008 release of the studio album Habediehre, followed by Übersee in 2009,
which established their signature blend of Blasmusik, world music, and funk. In
