La Gusana Ciega
La Gusana Ciega, a Mexican alternative rock band formed in 1993, consists of
Daniel Gutiérrez on vocals and guitar, Germán Arroyo on drums, and Luis Ernesto
Martínez "Lu" on bass. The group gained recognition in Mexico City’s underground
music scene through performances at local bars and clubs. Their debut album,
Merlina, released in 1996, received positive public reception. They followed
this with other well-received releases such as Superbee (1997), and
