La Fiebre
La Fiebre, a Tejano music band from Pasadena, Texas, formed in 1986. Their
breakthrough came with their first album Contagious (1988), featuring charting
singles "Vestida De Color De Rosa" and "Por Tu Culpa". The album On The Rise
(1991) produced the single "Borracho De Besos", which sold over 100,000 copies
and charted on Billboard. The band signed with Freddie Records in 1997, released
Fenomenal, and returned to a trumpet‑heavy sound with Reunidos (2004). In 1998,
La Fiebre earned a Grammy nomination for Best Tejano Album for Fiebre Live En
Concierto.
