La Familia
La Familia is a Romanian hip hop ensemble from Bucharest established in 1997.
The group consists of the musicians Dragoș "Puya" Gărdescu and Tudor Sișu. They
achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by gangsta
rap, G-funk, and conscious rap and for being pioneers of gangsta rap in Romania.
Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Băieți de cartier
(1997), which sold 10,000 copies. La Familia achieved professional recognition
