La Bruja de Texcoco is the stage project of Octavio Mendoza, a Mexico City-born
singer, actress, dancer, composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist whose
work brings together Mexican and Latin American traditional forms with classical
elements; the project emerged publicly by the late 2010s, and the first clearly
documented releases were the single "Té de Malvón" and the EP De Brujas,
Peteneras y Chachalacas in 2019. That early recording period established key
