La-33, a Colombian band from Bogotá's Teusaquillo neighborhood, was formed in
2002 by Sergio Mejía and Santiago Mejía. The group emerged from the vibrant
street culture of Calle 33, where young artists experimented with various
musical styles. La-33's debut album, La-33, released in 2004, featured nine
original compositions and a cover of Henry Mancini's "Pantera Mambo". Despite
