A French pop-rock band from the Yvelines region, Kyo was formed in 1994 with
members Benoît Poher (vocals and guitar), Nicolas Chassagne and Florian Dubos
(guitars) and Fabien Dubos (drums, replaced in 2018 by Jocelyn Moze). Gathered
around a shared passion for grunge and the graphic universe of manga and video
games, they recorded their homonymous debut album, released in 2000, which
charted in the French charts at number 71. It was with the following album, Le
