Kwes Darko (real name Kwesi Darko‑Obiri) was born in London, England, and
established himself as a record producer, songwriter, and electronic musician.
His first breakthrough came in 2009 when he released the track "Space Ex" under
the moniker Blue Daisy, featuring French singer LaNote and earning Pitchfork’s
“Best New Track” accolade; the same year he issued the Black Acre EP. In
