Ramazan Kubat, known professionally as Kubat, was born on October 4, 1974, in
Antwerp. He is a Turkish folk singer and composer who began his musical journey
at an early age, playing the "cura" and singing in local venues. Kubat released
his debut album, Kubat, in May 1996, marking the start of his professional
career. In 2001, he released Arşiv I- II-III, a compilation of 35 anonymous
Turkish folk songs accompanied by an extensive booklet detailing each song's
