Krystyna Pronko

Krystyna Prońko, born on 14 January 1947 in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland, is a Polish jazz, soul and pop singer. She began performing in 1966 with the family group Refleks and subsequently sang with Respekt before collaborating with Janusz Koman’s ensembles Pokolenie and Koman Band during the 1970s. Prońko gained national recognition at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole, receiving first prizes for interpretation in 1973 and 1975.
