Krosfyah
Krosfyah, a Barbadian Soca band formed in 1989 from the group Higher Level,
initially performed covers on the Barbados tourist circuit under the name
Crossfire. In 1993, they participated in a Caribbean tour, changed the spelling
of their name, and began focusing on original material. Their debut single "Hot
Tempo" led to the release of the album Ultimate Party (1994), earning them the
Barbados Band of the Year title. The band's breakthrough came with the 1995
single "Pump Me Up", which went gold in Canada in 1997 and was featured on their
second album Ultimate Party-Pump Me Up (...
