Kristin Ann Korb, born on October 29, 1969, in Billings, Montana, is an American
jazz musician and singer. From a young age, Korb played music with her brothers
and formed a rock-and-roll band. She studied music education at Eastern Montana
College before pursuing classical double bass at the University of California,
San Diego under Bertram Turetzky. Korb's career began with her debut album
Introducing Kristin Korb in 1996, featuring collaborations with notable
