Kristin Kontrol
Kristin Gundred, known professionally as Kristin Kontrol, is an American
musician. She began her music career as a member of Grand Ole Party from 2005 to
2009. In 2008, she founded the indie rock band Dum Dum Girls, where she
performed under the pseudonym Dee Dee and released five studio albums between
2010 and 2014. In 2016, Welchez announced her new solo project, Kristin Kontrol,
and released her debut album X‑Communicate on May 27, 2016, via Sub Pop Records.
