Kristi Stassinopoulou, born Chrisavgi "Kristi" Stassinopoulou on January 20,
1956 in Athens, Greece, is a singer, lyricist, and fiction writer. She studied
acting and drama at Theatro Tehnis and the theatre-school of Petros Katselis.
Her professional singing debut came in 1978 when she was cast as Mary Magdalene
in the Greek production of Jesus Christ Superstar. In 1983, Stassinopoulou
represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest with "Mou Les" by Antonis
Plessas. She released her self-titled debut album Kristi Stassinopoulou in 1986.
