Jacobus Johannes du Plessis, known as Koos du Plessis, is a South African
musician and poet. He began his career as a journalist before gaining
recognition as a singer-songwriter. His breakthrough came with "Kinders Van Die
Wind," which became the theme for the television series Phoenix en Kie and was
performed by Laurika Rauch. Du Plessis released his debut album, Skadu's Teen
