Kol Simcha, a Swiss klezmer band, was founded in 1986 as a duo consisting of
Josef Bollag and David Klein. Initially performing at weddings, their
breakthrough came when they began giving concerts, leading to the expansion of
their lineup over the years. The name Kol Simcha, meaning "the voice of joy,"
was derived from a blessing spoken at Jewish weddings. By 1990, the band had
