Timo Kojo, born on May 9, 1953, in Helsinki, Finland, was a rock, soul, and funk
singer. He began his recording career in 1977 with his band Madame George,
releasing their sole album Madame George: What's Happening?. Kojo's solo debut,
So Mean, was released in 1979. His subsequent albums included Lucky Street
(1980) and Go All the Way (1981. In 1982, he represented Finland in the
Eurovision Song Contest with "Nuku pommiin" ("Oversleep!"), a rock song
addressing nuclear disarmament, though it received no points. Despite this
