Kobe Bean Bryant, born on August 23, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was an
American basketball player who also released music. Raised in a basketball
family, his father, Joe "Jelly Bean" Bryant, was also a professional player.
Kobe's first musical release was the LP album in 2000. His debut single,
"K.O.B.E.", was also released in 2000. Kobe's music career was relatively
short-lived compared to his basketball career, which spanned two decades with
the Los Angeles Lakers. He passed away on January 26, 2020, in a helicopter
crash near Calabasas, California.
