Knut was a Swiss rock ensemble from Geneva established in 1994. The group
consisted of the musicians Jerome Doudet, Roderic Mounir, Tim Robert-Charrue,
Didier Séverin, and Christian Valleise. They achieved professional recognition
for a musical style characterized by mathcore, sludge metal, and hardcore. Their
recording career began with the single “Knut” (1994) and a split recording with
the ensemble Ishma in 1996. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for
