Knapsack was an American punk rock band formed in 1993 by Blair Shehan and Colby
Mancasola, high school friends studying at the University of California, Davis.
The group completed its lineup with guitarist Jason Bokros and bass guitarist
Rod Meyer. In 1994, Knapsack recorded their first single for Goldenrod Records
and signed with Alias Records later that year. Their debut album, Silver
Sweepstakes, was released in April 1995, followed by extensive tours supporting
bands such as Jimmy Eat World and Pavement. Bokros left the band before the
release of their second album, Day Thre...
