Sascha Konietzko, born 29 February 1966 in Ludwigshafen, Germany, served as the
founding vocalist, producer, and principal songwriter of the industrial group
KMFDM. After early exposure to punk and Throbbing Gristle, he established KMFDM
in 1984, releasing the debut EP What Do You Know, Deutschland? in 1986 followed
by the single "Terror" from Don't Blow Your Top in 1988. The band progressed
