Klaus Erich Dieter Doldinger, known professionally as Klaus Doldinger, was born
on May 12, 1936, in Berlin, Germany. He was a saxophonist and composer who began
his musical journey at the age of 10, studying at a conservatory in Düsseldorf
from 1947 to 1957. During this period, he performed with groups such as The
Feetwarmers and Oscar's Trio starting in 1953. Doldinger made his first tour to
the United States in 1960 and formed the Klaus Doldinger Quartett in 1962. His
