Kip Anderson
Kipling Taquana "Kip" Anderson, born on January 24, 1938, in Starr, Anderson
County, South Carolina, was a soul blues and R&B singer-songwriter. He began his
musical journey gaining early exposure through church performances and high
school band activities. In 1959, Anderson released his debut single "I Wanna Be
the Only One". His breakthrough came with "A Knife and a Fork", released in 1966
for Checker Records, which entered the Billboard R&B chart. Anderson
