Kinobe is a British electronic music group founded in west London in 1998 by
childhood friends Mark Blackburn and Julius Waters, both born in England in the
mid‑1970s; Blackburn served as producer and Waters as vocalist and
instrumentalist. The group’s breakthrough came with the single "Slip Into
Something More Comfortable", released in 1999, which sampled Engelbert
Humperdinck’s "From Here to Eternity" and attracted attention during the
late‑1990s chill‑out boom alongside Lemon Jelly, Bonobo and Bent; the track was
later reissued in 2016 with remixes by Psychemagik, Stephen Hagu...
