Roger McBride, known professionally as King T (formerly known as King Tee), and born on December 14, 1968, in Compton, California, is a West Coast hip-hop rapper. He emerged as one of Compton's earliest hip-hop artists and released his debut album Act a Fool under Capitol Records in 1988, featuring hit singles "Act a Fool" and "Payback's a Mutha". King Tee worked primarily with producer DJ Pooh and mentored Tha Alkaholiks, helping them release their debut album 21 & Over in 1993.
