Kick Axe, a Canadian hard rock / heavy metal band from Regina, Saskatchewan, was
formed in 1974 by Larry Gillstrom, Victor Langen, and Gary Langen. Initially
known as Hobbit, they changed their name to Kick Axe in 1976. The band's
breakthrough came with the release of their debut album Vices in 1984, which
reached Number 126 on the Billboard 200 chart. Notable singles include "On the
Road to Rock" and "With a Little Help from My Friends". Following the release of
Rock the World in 1986, Kick Axe disbanded in 1988. The band reformed in 2002
