Kia Shine
Nakia Shine Coleman, born on October 17, 1980, in Memphis, Tennessee, is an
American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. In 2006, he hosted an episode
of BET's Rap City. His debut single "Krispy" (2007) peaked at number 66 on the
US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number 24 on the Hot Rap Tracks
chart. He released his major label debut album Due Season (2007) under Universal
Records. In 2010, he won a BMI award for his contribution to Drake's "Best I
Ever Had", which later earned him four more BMI awards and a Grammy nomination.
