Keznamdi McDonald, simply known as Keznamdi, is a Jamaican reggae artist from
Kingston who grew up in a touring musical family—his parents fronted the band
Chakula—and spent part of his childhood outside Jamaica (including time in East
Africa) before later relocating to the United States for college. After a soccer
scholarship period ended with an injury, he refocused on music and introduced
