Kevin Yates McKendree, born on April 27, 1969 in Nuremberg, Germany, is an
American electric blues pianist and keyboardist. He started his musical career
as a self-taught musician at age 17, performing around the Washington, D.C.
area. In 1995, McKendree moved to Nashville and joined Lee Roy Parnell's band,
the Hot Links, contributing to the Grammy-nominated track "Mama, Screw Your Wig
on Tight" from Every Night's a Saturday Night. He later toured with Delbert
