Born in Soisy-sous-Montmorency on February 19, 2004, rapper Kerchak grew up in
Bois-Colombes in the Hauts-de-Seine department. He started out as a musician
under the pseudonym Zolal, and attracted attention with a series of freestyles
called Gorille, which racked up tens of thousands of views on social networks.
Two years later, the masked rapper changed his name to Kerchak, in reference to
the leader of the gorilla clan in Tarzan. At just 18, he was considered one of
