Kenneth "Kenny" Nolan, born on 30 September 1949 in Los Angeles, was an American
pop and adult contemporary singer-songwriter. After briefly studying music
composition at the University of Southern California, he began sending songs to
various musicians, catching the attention of veteran songwriter Bob Crewe and
entrepreneur Wes Farrell. His career took off when he co-wrote several hits with
Bob Crewe, including Frankie Valli's "My Eyes Adored You" and Labelle's "Lady
Marmalade", both reaching number one on Billboard Magazine's Hot 100 Chart in
