Keld Arne Heick, born in 1946 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, is a singer,
songwriter, and musician known for his contributions to Danish pop music. In
1963, he formed the band Keld & the Donkeys, achieving breakthrough success with
the hit song "Ved landsbyens gadekær" in 1966. In 1976, he formed a duo with his
wife Hilda Heick, debuting with the hit "Do you speak English?" and later
achieving success with "Jeg ringer på fredag". Heick has been a prolific
