加藤和彦
(Kazuhiko Kato, Kazuhiko Katoh)
Kazuhiko Katō, born March 21, 1947, in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan, was a Japanese
record producer, songwriter, and singer. He began his recording career in 1965
as a founding member of the folk group The Folk Crusaders, whose 1967 single
“Kaettekita Yopparai” sold over 1.3 million copies. Following the group's
disbandment in 1968, Katō launched his solo career with his debut studio album
Boku no Soba ni Oide yo in 1969. He released a series of solo studio albums
including Super Gas in 1971, Sore kara Saki no Koto wa... in 1976, Gardenia in
1978, Papa Hemingway in 1979, Utakata no O...
