Kavita Shah is an American jazz singer and composer from New York City. She
began her musical training at age five with classical piano and performed
regularly at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center as a member of the Young People's
Chorus of New York City. She attended Harvard College and earned a master’s
degree in jazz voice from the Manhattan School of Music. She released her debut
album Visions (2014), produced by Lionel Loueke. She performed at leading
festivals worldwide, including the Kennedy Center and Art Basel: Miami. Notable
