Kate Candela
Josseline Kate Higa Candela, known professionally as Kate Candela, was born on
August 30, 1991, in San Miguel, Lima, Peru. She began her musical journey as a
backup singer in a local parish and later performed romantic ballads before
transitioning to salsa music. Candela's breakthrough came when she joined the
all-female band Son Tentación in 2012, where she remained until 2018. Her solo
career commenced with the release of her debut album Ámame in 2019, produced by
