Katarzyna Wilk, known professionally as Kasia Wilk, was born on January 3, 1982,
in Lubin, Poland. She is a singer specializing in contemporary R&B. Before her
solo career, Wilk was a vocalist for several bands, including Kto To, Dreamland,
and Groovestreet. In 2004, she received an award at the Polish National Song
Festival in memory of singer Anna Jantar. Her breakthrough came in 2008 with the
release of her debut single "Pierwszy raz", which reached position 51 on the
