Karol Sakr
Karol Etienne Sakr, born on August 11, 1969, in Zahlé, Lebanon, is a Lebanese
singer who gained recognition for English-language songs in the 1980s. Sakr rose
to prominence as the lead vocalist of the music duo ZED, a collaboration with
composer Hadi Sharara. The duo released the album Away in the early 1990s,
featuring the singles “My One 4 Everything”, “Shout”, and the title track
“Away”. Following the split of ZED, Sakr emigrated to Australia for five years,
