Karina Jésica Tejeda, better known as Karina or “La Princesita,” is an
Argentinian singer and songwriter. She was born on January 30th, 1986, in
Florida, Buenos Aires Province. She started as an avid karaoke performer before
embarking on a professional career in music. She released her first album,
Miénteme, in 2004, which was a success in the tropical music scene. The album
also won the prestigious Gardel de Oro Award for Best Tropical Album By a Female
