Karen Ichiuji‑Ramone, born May 15 1951, was an American singer and actress who
performed under the stage name Karen Kamon. Raised in the United States, she
entered the music scene in the early 1980s, achieving her breakthrough with the
single "Manhunt" in 1983, which appeared on the soundtrack for Flashdance. In
1983 she released the album Heart of You on CBS, featuring the track "Loverboy"
that reached number 88 on the Billboard Hot 100. That same year she contributed
