Kaballà, the stage name of Giuseppe Rinaldi (born 7 July 1953 in Caltagirone,
Italy), is an Italian musician, singer-songwriter, and composer. Based in Milan,
he began his recording career with Petra lavica (1991), an album blending
popular music, rock, and world music influences, which earned him a Tenco Prize
finalist nomination. His later albums, including Le vie dei canti (1993) and
Lettere dal fondo del mare (1996), reflected his exploration of Sicilian
