K2 was founded in Bavaria in the mid-1990s. The project emerged from the German
Eurodance and dance-pop scene. It was founded by the producer Klaus Munzert. K2
is conceived as a studio project. The line-up consists of the singer Nina
Poethen and the rapper Martin Pelz. Dancers, including Daniel Aminati, also
appear in live performances and music videos. From 1994, K2 released its first
singles in the Eurodance genre with folk and pop elements. The style combines
