Jump 'n the Saddle Band was an American Western swing band from Chicago,
Illinois. Formed in 1983, the group initially gained regional attention with
their novelty song "The Curly Shuffle", a tribute to Curly Howard of The Three
Stooges. Released on the Acme label, the track's popularity led to a signing
with Atlantic Records and the release of their self-titled debut album Jump 'n
the Saddle Band in 1984. "The Curly Shuffle" eventually became a major hit,
