Revealed by the Nouvelle Star TV show, which he won in 2007, composer, musician
and performer Julien Doré has made a name for himself with his sense of offbeat
cover versions and tender humor, which he has maintained throughout his upwardly
mobile career. Born in Alès (Gard) on July 7, 1982, he grew up in Nîmes, studied
at the Beaux-Arts and formed the parodic rock band Dig Elvis Up, under the name
Julian Golden, in 2002. Following the short-lived project The Jean d'Ormesson
Disco Suicide, Julien Doré entered the TV talent show Nouvelle star, where his
iconoclastic covers of Alié...
