Judith Durham
Judith Mavis Cock, known professionally as Judith Durham, was an Australian folk
singer, songwriter, and musician who was the lead vocalist of the folk group The
Seekers. After training in classical piano and vocal performance, she began
performing with the Melbourne University Jazz Band at age 18, releasing her
debut extended play Judy Durham with Frank Traynor's Jazz Preachers in 1963.
Durham joined The Seekers in 1962, releasing their debut studio album
