Juçara Marçal is a Brazilian singer and educator who was born as Juçara Marçal
Nunes in 1962 in Duque de Caxias. She began a professional artistic career in
1990 with the Companhia Coral and later performed with the female vocal group
Vésper Vocal, which released the recordings Flor D’Elis (1998) and Ser tão
paulista (2004). Marçal achieved professional prominence as a co-founder of the
band A Barca in 1998 and the trio Metá Metá in 2011, the latter of which
