Juanita du Plessis
Juanita du Plessis, born on April 26, 1972, in Windhoek, South West Africa, is a
Namibian-South African country singer. Her career began in 1998 with the release
of her debut album Juanita, winning multiple awards at the CMA (Country Music
Association in Namibia) including Best Singer and Songwriter. Du Plessis'
subsequent albums include Ek en Jy (2001), Dis waar ek wil wees (2002), and Jy
is.... (2003). Her song "Ska-Rumba" became particularly notable, contributing to
her widespread recognition. In 2010, she received a South African Music Award
